Bathroom and kitchen ventilation fans are very important aspects of the ventilation system of your home. These vent systems serve two purposes one is to remove moisture and the second one is to remove odors. The most important purpose of ventilation is to remove moisture and humidity from the home. High humidity and moisture levels can effect the health of individuals because they can cause mold growth.
Most venting systems are made up of an exhaust fan, duct work and an exterior hood assembly. Some homes have a central venting system, in which a single fan draws moisture and odors from more then one room in the house using several ducts. There are two general types of vent fans. One type is the impeller fan which appears like a regular household fan with fan blades. The other are blowers which have a round appearance.
